Sugar Beach is a whimsical new park (2010), in a former industrial area. Now Toronto’s second urban beach at the water’s edge. Located near the Redpath Sugar Factory, the park’s brightly coloured pink beach umbrellas are welcoming visitors to the new waterfront neighbourhood of East Bayfront. The condo construction is in full swing!
The design - by Claude Cormier Architectes Paysagistes.
There is no pool, in fact signs are everywhere, that Swimming is not allowed!
It is better then parking lot, but people are not used to it yet, so it is not used much!
