What a great opportunity, I have been past Steins many times, One of these days I'm stopping.

A group from the Portal Rodeo Hiking Club made a special detour that morning on the way to the weekly hike just to see the train pass. The ghost town was not open at that time though, so I did not have a chance to see the place up close.
