An interesting link for King Alfred's Tower.
Hi Rosa, nice shot of this old tower, and an interesting link to the web site. It could be used as a mobile phone mast!!! :) Best wishes, John.
Hi John, It would certainly help me get a better signal with the mobile...I think there might be a bit of an outcry though! :) Pleased you like it. Best wishes, Rosa.
Thank you sziaa, I am pleased you like it.
Awesome perspective, a spectacular tower.

Thank you for your visit and kind comments.
Best wishes, Rosa.
I LIKE the angle of this one, it really shows off the tower. The link to the info is a real bonus.
Thank you Mark. It felt really high looking up from that angle! Chers, Rosa.
An impressive folly dear Rosa, and an outstanding one as well. many thanks for the information link - always a useful addition to any photo. The brickies of the time certainly had their hods full with the 1.2 million bricks :))
Can you get inside and climb to the top? The views must be magnificent!
Hello Amelia and thanks for your interest. During summer months you can climb to the top and yes, the view is magnificent. I'm not good with heights but even I would do it again:)
Hi Rosa did you watch A303: Highway to the Sun? The best thing I've seen on telly for a while.
Hi Mark, yes I did see that, it's right up my street. Loved it. Went to Devizes today and just had to do a slight detour to Caen Hill locks!
Just spotted this shot in your gallery, that I do like. L/7.
Hi Bob, pleased with that. Thank you for L/7. Regards, Rosa.
