I'm laughing, too, Amelia! Penance for the pennants typo. I'm not the only lightfingered Panoperson. Theolfa
Craven A will not affect your sense of humour :))))
Ah I remember those old coughing nails ~ they had a classy red box if I remember rightly with a little black cat head :) ~ I think the most popular Pano slip is shot where o becomes i :)) or maybe crop becomes something else due to the hay :))) Nice one Theolfa too :)))
Amelia, that's priceless! And Nick is right - a black cat on a red ground. I quit years ago, DG, but I used to roll my own, unless I could afford five tipped Woodies :D
My Mum used to smoke the black cat on a red background, and believe you me it didn't affect her throat or her voice when she nagged me to eat up my porridge. I don't think it affected her sense of humour either :))
My Father smoked Blue Stripes and my Mother Du Maurier which were in a packet like this ~ I took whatever I could get away with :))))
My Dad smoked woodies until he gave up. He was a watchmaker, and used to repair a 'proper' watch for a packet of 20! Never made a good living - but was a contented soul :))
Oh - the elegance of Du Maurier :)))
Sincerely yours, Rebecca x
Wow I used to love taking clocks to pieces when I was young (and putting them back together again working too :) Sleep well xx

Hello dear MM, thank you! Have you had any snow up there yet? We have had some overnight here - so the world will look a bit brighter when the sun eventually gets above the horizon. :)
Thank you BEDRİ AKÇAY. I am delighted to read your compliment.

Many thanks dear Karl. I see you have considerably reduced the size of your gallery. Are you leaving Panoramio?
I did like looking at your web gallery though, some beautiful photos there.
Warm wishes, Amelia
Yes maybe these stairs don't lead to heaven Dear Peter. Many thanks for the Y* - I am delighted!
To those of you that I haven't replied to, thanks you for taking the time to visit and leave comments.
I guess Christmas, then winter, then spring then summer got in the way. I apologise for my negligence.
Warm wishes to you all, Amelia
