Pampas grass was an unusual subject to find blowing in the breeze up here on the high ground above Grosmont..The curvature of the road, old stone wall and distant back-drop really appealed to me!

Le canton a augmenté parallèlement un développement industriel de la production de fer et un four à briques énormes, aujourd'hui disparu .. Il est probable que le grand monticule appelé les tas de déblais de proximité fer-pierre fonctionnement!
