ABBREEN JABBAR MEMON
Ambreen Jabbar Memon the Daughter of Abdul Jabbar Memon was born on September 3rd, 1988. She was the only daughter of Mr. Abdul Jabbar she was very cute, innocent, polite, sensible, trustworthy, humble, trouble shooter very good at cooking and embroidery. She was always with smiling face, ready to help every individual and much more attentive towards religion. She was doing her graduation. Ambreen was very much attached to our mother whose affection can never be measured. All her wishes were certainly fulfilled by our father. She was very caring to her brothers and all people in her surroundings. Ambreen was very good at tailoring and embriodry, at the same time she was fond of coocking and always innovative in decorating home. She always remember the births dates of her family, relative and friends and always try to give surprises.
I was very unlucky day for our family about 8 months back, one night Ambreen complained of pain in left shoulder along with the pain in Heart, we rushed to emergency of the National Institute of cardiovascular disease hospital in Karachi where doctors conducted ECG which showed everything normal but she was still complaining of pain, therefore doctors planned for ECO test which indicated some sign of Atrial septal defact (ASD) but doctors advised to consult with cardiologist for further diagnosis. Consultant advised for X-ray film which indicated of problem but he advised to take ECO test in which ASD was confired. Later Doctors advised to make EEG and Doppler Eco for further conformation along with the size and location of ASD in which report multiple ASDs were diagnosed have size of 3-4cm. Doctors advised for surgery which is the only treatment of ASD.
We consulted several cardiologists for obtaining their opinion and finally we agreed to surgery and consulted Dr Ari fur Rehman senior Cardiologist who assured of surgery and satisfied by saying that the surgery is minor and Inshallah she would recover withing one month after surgery and Ambreen would be able to normal life. He asked to get admitted in NICVD on September 19th and by September 23rd, 2011 he would perform ASD closure procedure. All things were normal we were hoping that everything would be normalized but as the Allah’s will which is blind to every human being. Dr performed open heart surgery for ASD closure and she successfully recovered from anesthesia. She were improving and conscious for 30 hours but due to carelessness of ICU management something went wrong perhaps the nurse delayed in injecting blood thickeners which refrain blood from clot due to which clots were prepared. These clots travelled throughout body via circulatory system and were trapped in brain, these clots infarcted in brain stem which impaired respiratory system. Ambreen became subconscious and vent on ventilator. She fought for her life and struggled very very hard for continuous more than 10 days but as is the Allah’s will Human’s all efforts goes in vain. Same occurred with our beloved sister Ambreen Jabbar Memon who left all us in between. October 4th,2011 was black to us.
This was her picture on September 18th, 2011 at Jinnah International Airport where Ambreen Came to see me off while I was travelling to Islamabad for participating in a training workshop. Who know that Her plane has already landed to take her off forever from us and we could never see her again in this world. It was my last meeting with her. I could only see her in hospital when she was helpless hand struggling for survival. I tried to talk her and she also responded me very efficiently but…
