Thanks very much Palmina! And it would be more Christmasy this week, since we now even have snow on the ground (BRRRRRR!) I have to owe my strange artistic perspective on that fact I forgot my little tripod, and had to use a low seat that was at least almost centered on the arbor. Sometimes accidents work to our advantage!

Lovely Christmas photo, Kamaly! Those steps and columns would be great even without all the blue lights, but the decorations really exaggerate the curve of the arch.
Btw, I know exactly what you mean about an accident turning into a big plus for the final image. Awfully tempting to take credit, sometimes!;)

Thanks, Ryan! Yes, I'm starting to think that the accidents turn out to be my more favorite photos! I find that especially when I set out to photograph one thing, I end up also getting something completely different that's much better, so every walk is an adventure!
Thanks for your compliments on the lighted archway! Part of the reason I haven't been spending as much time adding photos and visitng others through this page is that I finally figured out the 3D photos on panoramio, and have been infected by that virus! So I set up another page just for the 3Ds, and there are a few of this arch on that ( A and B ), in case you have any interest in the 3Ds. Not trying to make a really bad pun, but they honestly do add a while new dimension to photos!
