I remember filling up with Dad at pumps like these when petrol was 3s/6d a gallon.

I can barely remember that some of them had a glass bulb on the side that you had to ensure was full of petrol before filling could commence. ;)

You're right. They also used to sell you a squirt of Reddex from a red large can.
