Just a little try with 4 "columns" x 5 "Rows" = 20 individual pictures. No Tripod. Stitched with PTGui in Mercator Projection.

Certainly not without errors - constructive criticism & feedback is more than welcome!

A great image Auggie! I like the composition in lines and colors very much. On one side the buildings with edges and lines, as cold greyish concrete-glass-metall-assembly (even the "plants in their cubes appear grey) where only the center spot mirrows a bit of a pale color. A varying sky on the other side with tender flooding (?) colors, nothing fixed, no edges, no lines. I also like - in a more technical sense - the propper verticality - no, or hardly any converging lines (?).

That far I only found one stitching problem at one of this bicycle-holders (herrje, was heißt denn Fahrradständer auf Englisch??). For me a bit disturbing appear the white lines at the upper edges between darkest buildings and sky - chromatische Aberation I think ...

Finaly: what am I glad to live at the edge of my city, where the proportion of nature and man made stuff is the other way round ;-)

For this one YSL from Vienna.

Cheers!

  • Hello Auggie,
  • Excellent work of this very difficult scene with all those lines. I think that Leon already gave a very good feedback. Cannot add any intelligent remark to that, except I really like the gloomy mood and colors in this photo.

LG Auggie

Super Aufnahme , Fritz hat da schon recht. Liebe Grüsse Rita

Thank you very much, Jan y muchas Gracias, Don Carlos. This was kind of an experiment, but also breakthrough - for almost two years I have been taking single-row Panoramas that were still limited in either height or width. Expanding the perspective in to multiple rows and/or columns, there are (in theory) no limits left! Time to go rediscover the large buildings around my office! Cheers Auggie

"Meine kanadischen Berge!" Herzlichen Dank Ritli! Cheers Auggie
