Great Egret in the last rays of the sun at the mouth of Humber River

The bird life on the Humber River could be spectacular at times. The birds you can see are Great white eggrets, night herons, great blue herons, red-wing blackbirds, mute swans, Canada geese, mallard ducks, crows and of course seagulls. New additions is cormorant. It was a bird that you never see, but now they are too many.

Great Egrets are white with long straight yellow bills, black legs and feet.
