This Great Egret is one of a pair of egrets who return to Port Richey, Florida, each spring to mate and produce more offspring. The plumage is unique as is the turquoise coloring around the beak at mating season. I am naming this image Sinch's Great Egret for my friend and mentor "Sinch" Ofiara, a retired newspaper photographer and college photography teacher.

Thank you Zoli. This photo is special to me since a dear friend of mine called it his favorite. My friend recently died and it is displayed here in his honor.
