Thank you once again for your visit Vadim. I wonder if you noticed that this musician does not have a head? ;))

Friendly wishes, Amelia

I don't think many people have noticed this headless musician before dear Jac & Willy, and maybe I have misplaced him. Nevertheless, I'm very happy to show it to my Dutch friends. It was difficult to find places where no tourists seem to have visited in Amsterdam!

Groetjes, Amelia

I have heard of dancing your socks off ~ but fiddling your head off ~ is a step too far!!! No wonder he is feeling blue :(

Hi Amelia,

Having worked in the music business for many years I can think of a good few musicians who would fit the title.

Good morning François, thank you. I have tried to find out who the 'artist' of this work is to no avail. Maybe someone will be able to tell me :))

Thank you for your visit and kind words Betty. There are 1000s of photos of Amsterdam on GE, so I was looking for something different.

Friendly greetings, Amelia

Dear Christian, Unfortunately I wasn't able to open your link. I wonder if shows Marie Antoinette and 'La guillotine'? ;))

Cheers, Amelia

Maybe he has just been laughing his head off dear Nick - or at least the sculptor was :)))

Is this the meaning of a 'no brainer?

I'm sure your not one of them Mick :)))

We were both surprised and amused to see this, and I think it might be a first on GE!

Cheers, Amelia

I managed to open it this time Christian - perfect! How ever do you find these little treasures?

:D

I thought: I`ve seen this somewhere before! And I did. I went to Amsterdam in late October, together with a friend. We stayed in a room in the Herengracht.

Exciting city. A little "untidy".

Hi there Marianne - did you get a photo of him? I'm not sure I have put him in the correct location :))

It is an exciting city. They were doing a lot of work on strengthening the canal walls in places when we were mid October, and the city wasn't looking at its best :))

Here's the original version with all his head! ;) Cheers, Christian
