I'll use small words since this is clearly difficult for some of you:
I LIVE 2 MINUTES FROM THIS PLACE. IT STILL EXSISTS. THE MAIN BUILDING IS STILL STANDING. IT IS NOT BEING TORN DOWN. THERE IS A SUBDIVISION BEING BUILT AROUND IT BUT IT IS STILL THERE. STILL THERE. STIIL. Jesus. It's like trying to communicate with a child.
And to Rosiegirll- You think that by keeping these pictures up it is some how a "discervice" (I'm sure you meant disservice)? How is that? By providing a photographic reference for anyone who might be looking into the subject of Dammaschs' history? So, by your logic-it would also be a DISSERVICE to keep pictures of anything that isn't currently in use. Keeping a photographic record of a former PUBLIC BUILDING isn't a DISSERVICE to the residents that live there and considering the fact that THEY MOVED THERE KNOWING WHAT WAS ALREADY THERE, I'm fairly certain they DONT GIVE A CRAP. Unless you have stood on the ruins of Dammasch(or if you happen to have a copy of the key and permission to go in whenever you want, LIKE ME), then you should probably just keep your badly spelled, moronic opinions to yourself. Since I was just there today(as a matter of fact) and since just today I was standing in the LOBBY of what was the former hospital, I'm gonna go ahead and rejoice in the fact that I'm right and you are stupid. By the way-Even if/when they finally DO tear the main building down, I will STILL keep these pics up, purely because they are of HISTORICAL VALUE. I know you soccer mom's don't have much time for things like History and you don't use words like Historical Value, but the intelligent people of the world actually really like being able to look things up(like old hospitals) and find out what they look like and what the status is. So, thanks a whole bunch, but shut the f*ck up. Your idiocy is dirtying up my comments.

JUST FOR THE RECORD: THE BUILDING IN THIS PHOTO IS STILL STANDING. IF IT EVER GETS RIPPED DOWN, I WILL PUT THOSE PICTURES UP AS WELL. PLEASE Don't leave stupid comments assuming that you know the status of this building. If you DO happen to know, then it's likely that I know YOU. I know who owns the property, I know what his plans are and I know what it's potential future is...DO YOU? probably not.

Just wondering... Have you been taking a series of photos as the new development has been in progress? Watching the changes in a timeline would be interesting.

Yes. I go over pretty much every week and roughly once a month I take photos. I'm planning on putting them up soon, it's just that there are a ton. If anyone wants any of the new stuff, just email me- springchikun@gmail.com
