Greetings Sylvie, Thanks for visiting. I decided to pull off and take pictures even though I was only a few minutes from the house. I decided I wasn't in a hurry to get to the hills. For an added bonus all these sea gulls were flying through the frame. Thanks again.
Greetings Andreas, Thanks for visiting the sunrise. It was interesting that those little clouds were the only ones in the area. If I had been north or south they wouldn't have been over the rising sun, and I wouldn't have had the sea gulls either. Fun picture.
Greetings Verena, Thanks for visiting the Sea Gull Sunrise and your wonderful comments. I hope everything is going well for you and your family. As I got up to go to the hills on Sunday I saw the sun was about to come up over the horizon. I pulled off to a school a few blocks from the house and had the sun rise and a flock of sea gulls at the same time. It was a fun effect having the birds flying through the frame. It was totally unplanned. Glad you liked it.
Thank you, everything is going well. I hope everything is going well for you and your family too! I have seen for a long time no sunrise, in summer again :)! But when we drive to school I sometimes see it! It's so beautiful!
Greetings Verena, If the sun is right you should take (sneak) your camera along on the ride to school to get a different light on your traveling companions.....Hmmmm.....not a good idea. Forget it. Hey, how is Pauli doing. It has been a long time since he's mugged for the camera. Have a good one.
It´s really an interesting coincidence that the clouds and the gulls were in the right diriction to the sun at the right time, maybe that´s nature´s little wonders...
Greetings Verena, Inessa and Andreas, Thanks for visiting the sunrise and sea gulls and commenting.
Verena - good to hear Pauli is good. He may be hard to work with after such a long break from photography.
Inessa - Thanks, I was lucky the sun, the clouds and the birds all came together in this shot. Right place at the right time for all these elements.
Andreas - You are right. Sometimes we get lucky. If I had been in a hurry to get to the hills I would have kept driving and missed it all. It was wonderful.
It's a wonderful shot indeed. The gulls make the picture. It reminds me of the poems we were tortured with in former classes about animals greeting the new day and so on. This pic is much better :)
Greetings Eva, Sorry to hear you were tortured with poems in the past. At least you developed your own visual poetry with your camera. When I got the camera out I didn't even notice all the sea gulls. It wasn't until I looked through the viewfinder that I saw them. Then it was just a matter of shooting away and selecting a good composition. My thanks to mother nature.
Greetings Anne, Thanks for visiting the sunrise and commenting. The sea gulls were a little bit of a surprise bonus for my picture stop. I figured I'd just get a little of the sun and the clouds, but then there were all these gulls flying about. It really was a nice touch for the picture. Glad you liked it.
Greetings Bunyamin, Thanks so much for visiting my sunrise and your wonderful comments. I am glad you liked it. It was very nice to have the seagulls flying through the frame to add to the sun's orb and the clouds above. It was a nice start to a wonderful day in the mountains west of Denver. Thanks again for visiting.
Saludos Jose, Gracias por visitar. Gracias por comentario bonito. Disfruté de este amanecer con las gaviotas. Fue hermoso. Me alegro de que te gustó la imagen.

A Yellow star from me as well! A really nice mood, i like the small clouds - they´re looking like steam and not like real clouds.
Cheers, Andreas!

Greetings Richard, Pauli is well. At the moment I have not much time to take photos, it's a pity, but I will take soon a photo of him!
