Greetings Anna, The snow shoe hare is very well disguised in winter and it was only by chance that I saw him a few yards off the trail. He was very comfortable sitting on his front porch watching all the hikers and skiers go by. I am glad you found him too. Thank you for the kind words.

Cheers,

Rich

another fantastic and tender shot, Rich. It looks very Christmassy somehow, I love the shadow on the snow, a wonderful effect to go with the gorgeous hare. It's a lovely greeting card image. I'll give a Y* for my favorites! Regards, susan

Greetings Susan, Thanks for visiting the wee little bunny. But be careful. He has that look in his eyes. Could be dangerous! But it really was a treat to spot him and get a nice picture.

Cheers,

Rich

Rich, I wonder, does he attack humans? I know of hamsters that do that! I get your point, I know that kind of look. Cheers, susan

Hello Richard I was following my own footsteps from a long ago journey through the Rocky Mountain National Park and I began finding your Pics along the way. I commented on a few to witch you quickly and graciously replied, thank you for that. I have been looking through your pics and I am very impressed. Your pics allow me a sense of being present in the moment and you do pick interesting moments so it is a real joy. Thank you for sharing

Greetings Jeff, Thanks for the visit and the nice comment. I am glad you got to relive some of your adventures in the park. I volunteer on Sundays in Moraine Park and I am amazed by how many people are returning after so many years. The ask about hike and then return later in the afternoon to tell us how much they enjoyed visiting the past.

Cheers,

Rich
