Nicolaus Copernicus (February 19, 1473 – May 24, 1543) was the first astronomer to formulate a scientifically based heliocentric cosmology that displaced the Earth from the center of the universe.
A very creative take on him with the moon right there! And when I first opened it, it seemed that the armillary sphere (is that what it is?) in his hand was the crescent moon with Samantha sitting on it!
