And finally, after many months in the air, Harold and Maude arrive at their destination....
Or so they thought.
not an easy shot. nice.
Hi Brian, Thanks! Actually, it wasn't too tough at all. They're hanging out in a corn field along 1A, putting on a pretty good show, and I almost could have gotten it without getting out of the car! ;)
Well, it'll be interesting to see how long they hang around, Guy. They're probably depending on our lack of familiarity with them, so that they don't take the place of turkey at Christmas dinner! But it must be great to have a whole flock of them dancing around.
Harold obviously prefers a cornfield to Florida.
I also would prefer a cornfield to Florida, since my brother Gnarryl added an embarrassing picture of my last Florida trip to his page.
LOL, Norrel - no wonder you don't allow Gnarryl to travel with you any more! These guys here must like to typically winter in Florida for dances like that - sandhills are famous for their dancing, though I didn't get to see a show.
But looks like Maude took over the navigating and that evening they headed back on their way. I haven't seen any reports of them since. I guess they were just stopping for a pit stop to gas up with some corn-based fuel.
Just stopping for a small snack @ the McCorn! You're lucky!
