Caedmons Cross.~~~~~Caedmon, the father of English Poetry

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

This is possibly one of the most unforgettable views of the town from the east cliffs! It is nothing short of specular! This view, taken at twilight with a very wide angle lens, shows the bigger picture!

The cross was erected a century or so ago to commemorate the life of -CAEDMON](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C%C3%A6dmon), the father of English poetry..

What a charming place, Jim! This is magnificent with the Celtic Cross so ornate, and the lovely city along the sea, ravishing shot, big like 21! Best regards from France, Geneviève-A.
