Thanks Nawitka! A composition like this is actually very easy to produce, I only started really experimenting with Photoshop over a month ago.

Here, I loved the gesture of the swans but the sea appeared very dull compared, so I isolated it with the magic wand tool and then filled it in using the confetti paintbrush. Add a frame and you're done! :-) The hardest part is really just choosing a photo which is right for experimenting.

Thank you so much Peter! For this I used Photoshop Elements, mostly using the confetti paintbrush tool. You're not alone in having held back before going digital, I was still using my old film SLR until February last year. I think the speed of technological change held me back, my Nikon D50 is already an old model! :-)
