Hi Stephen. My name is Andrew Giles and I lived at 46 St Pauls Woodhill, went to Midfield Infant, Junior and Secondary schools. Spent most of my play time in the woods Park Wood although there were no walking tracks ( it was fenced, private land ). I knew those woods and every tree like the back of my hand hahaha. Upon leaving school I joined the merchant navy then, in 1966 ( 17yrs old ), I came here to Australia ( the rest of my family stayed in England ). I am now retired after a 30yr career in Air traffic Control at Sydney and live in Queensland. Thanks so much for those photos, they bring back wonderful childhood memories. Kindest regards and best wishes.

Thanks Andrew - pleased to bring back some memories for you. I don't really know the area myself, but Park Wood now lies on a long-distance footpath called the London Loop which encircles outer London. I walked it in 2008 and passed along the track shown in the photo.
