Danke schön, e.m.r.! Ja, das stimmt, ein herrlicher Strand, aber sehr abgelegen und ziemlich frisch. Jedenfalls habe ich niemanden im Wasser gesehen. May

Thank you, Alex! Yes, I want to finish my Round-the-Coast of 2006, so that I may start the series of summer 2007. :) I can really recommend Donegal, it's very green and a very rugged coast. The more North you get, the less people there are. I went for miles without meeting a car or any people in the North of Donegal.

It rained most of the time in Donegal and North Ireland, so I won't have many more photos now. Just a few from North Donegal, down on the way to Letterkenny. I passed in Derry and Belfast without taking any photos, I have only very few from the coast. It rained and rained all day on my whole trip in North Ireland. Greetings, May

Thank you, Julie! Which parts have you been to! I only passed Northern Island along the coast, from Sligo to Enniskillen and I passed Derry and Belfast without seeing much. I'll put the photos of the coast of Northern Ireland later; first, my journey continues along the coast of Donegal to Letterkenny.

Greetings, May

This picture is of Keem Beach, Doagh is the village further to the east.

…but Dooagh is the nearest village, in about one km distance as the map says.

This beautiful Island is where i spent the first 18 years of my life, it's easy to take such beauty for granted when you live there, it's only when you leave you fully appreciate it.
