As the cruise ships unload their cargo of tourist, the nearby harbour buildings reflect the size and majesty of these floating towns.

JMVales, Stojan, Jethro and Isabel, thank you so much, my friends, for visiting here and enjoying this photo of one of my favourite subjects: reflections. This reminds me too of one of those computer puzzles to move the tiles into the correct places to complete the picture. Special thanks for al your likes.

Seasonal Greetings to you all, Herb

Gaudí would have been proud to have painted this Herb, and you should be proud to have found this photo :))

Wishing you a happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.

Nice one Herb, if a little puzzling :) hope this is not one of those cruise ship that Mario designed they tend to run aground if driven to close to the rock! :))

Herb Riddle on January 18, 2012

That's right Nick. I have left a comment on Mario's picture expressing my sorrow of that sad accident. This is in fact the reflections of the ship that I was on: The P&O Arcadia. Not as big as the 'Costa Concordia' but being built in the same shipyard I think. I have another cruise later this year and now have food for thought! Glad you like my puzzle reflection.

Cheers, Herb

I am so glad I found you. I love all of your photos. Would you like me to put "LIKE" on all of them? Are you interested how many LIKES and FAVOURITES you accumulate? Let me know.

Herb Riddle on July 11, 2012

Hello Eva and welcome to my humble gallery. It is always nice to see new visitors here especially those with comments and awards like yours here.

Eva, it is always nice to receive a like and YS, as a mark of someone's respect and appreciation for a piece of work. In spite of that, I am NOT a collector of such things, as I know some people are, and I do not count up my stars. Much better is a thoughtful comment. Many thanks for your kind thoughts in this matter Eva. I look forward to seeing you again.

Best wishes from the UK, Herb
