Cora Coralina, pseudonym of Ana Lins dos Guimarães Peixoto Bretas, (City of Goiás, August 20, 1889 - Goiânia, 10 April 1985) was a Brazilian poet.
Simple woman, doceira by profession, having lived away from major urban centers outside the literary fashions, produced a work rich in poetic reasons for the daily in Brazil's interior, particularly the historic streets and alleys of Goiás
Biography Daughter of Francisco de Paula Lins dos Guimarães Peixoto, desembargador appointed by King Pedro II, and Jacinta Louise of Brandão Couto, Ana was born and created on the banks of the Red River, home purchased by his family in the nineteenth century, when his grandfather was still a child. It is estimated that the house was built in the mid-eighteenth century, one of the first buildings of the former Vila Boa de Goiás.
