The Yellowtail is a beautiful bird, but a little difficult to photograph: it is not large, it tends to keep its distance, and it moves faster than one realizes. But the fantastic pendulous nests it builds may be seen in many places--well out of reach, but even so high up as in the trees growing on the third tier of Caana at Caracol. This picture, however, was taken from ground level; and I was happy to have one specimen landing!
