The Calle 16 Project is a creative response to recently passed Arizona state law, the broadest, strictest anti-illegal immigration measure in recent U.S. history. Elements of the project were present prior to the law. A second project goal is growing a lively food and arts district near the Coronado Neighborhood. There are at least two Calle 16 web sites and a Facebook page.
