Dear, Carla, thank you for visiting. Particulary this land never was part of Armenia. Armenia was large country "below or south on map" from Georgia ~2000 years ago.

~200 years ago Georgia, part of Armenia etc. were occupied by Russian Empire, other part- by Ottoman empire, also Mt. Ararat became divided.
