my father grew up in goose arm. his father ran a sawmill in goose arm way back when (Jim Janes) it was located on the north shore of the arm, according to old maps, and up behind that was a large hill. upon reaching the top and looking north my father(Ronald Janes) said there is a big valley. it was full of giant white pine and almost everyone of them had an eagles nest in it
