Just my sort of place dear Keith. I'd love to have a wander around here!
Why is it called Charlie's Garden?
Wishing you all the best for 2012, health, happiness and lots of good photo-opportunities with you battery of cameras ;)
Thanks Amelia. A happy, safe and prosperous new year to you.
Apparently, the name comes from a gentleman called Charles Dockwray, who maintained a garden on This Stack up until around 1855. It was then much bigger and possibly still attached to the mainland.
Good grief. It takes all sorts.
Like nº 2.
Beautiful place and photo.
It does indeed Jethro.
