Thank you Palmina and Inessa. Yes it is very peaceful. That is a cemetary from the war 1914/1918 and the belgian people never vergot what the Australian soldiers have done for our peace.

Yes Mauro, we have lot of cemetery's in Belgium and specially in Flanders because of World war 1 and 2 lot of soldiers from Australia, New Zealand,England,Morocco, Germany, etc... are bury in Belgium. Especially "FLANDERS FIELD" that is the province West Vlaanderen. Flemish part of Belgium.

My grandfather's brother John Nordberg rests here, killed at a little over 19 in 1918. Any locals please tell him his great great nephew remembers the price he paid. Shed a tear for him, he never got to grow old, have children or any of the things we take for granted. His brother also fought in WW1 and WW2. Also two of his nephews served in WW2. and my brother and I served in the Vietnam War. Pray for peace.

Hey Bubblesron What a nice comment. Here in Belgium we still remember all those ho give there live for peace. We never forget them !!! Lots of people visit frequently the war cemeteries for remembrance and pray.
