I wouldn't have enough English words what to express my admiration. It's the real christmas picture. I'm glad that I has had the luck to see this photo on eve of Christmas.

With the best regards, Sergej.

Dear Sergej, I am thrilled that this picture means so much to you. It means a lot to me too: both that it tells of the birth of Jesus, and also that it is expressed in the culture of Vanuatu and by the ni Vanuatu people. I sensed that this scene that I photographed at the home of the village chief, was so real that I sensed in a deep way, the remarkable truth that God comes to us in our ordinary life. Is that what you wanted to say, if you had enough English? Ian

Yes. This is that what I wished to tell, but couldn't. You have expressed those feelings as which I felt in myself at viewing this picture. I couldn't to tell better. When I look on this picture - music sounds in my soul. Suddenly I recollected words John Newton's Christian hymn: "Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that sav’d a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found, was blind, but now I see." Thanks you for these photos. They warm soul.
