Ian, thank you for posting the Vanuatu set. I found them all very strong images, but this one in particular reached out and grabbed me, even though I didn't expect it from the thumbnail. Thank you again! Marilyn

Marilyn, I am gald I could take you to Vanuatu with this images. The candle lit march around the circuit on Ifira Island is a very special experience. It seems so European to be carolling, but it is so traditionally ni Van, too, or perhaps more so. This was taken in 2005, but the Panoramio greetings for Christmas that are flowing got me recalling, so I posted. Ian

Andreas, Thanks for your affirmation and your Pacific greeting. I am glad you enjoy your return visits to the Pacific through Panoramio. I have my "adopted son" from Vanutau and his wife and daughter with me right now - they are with us for a month over Christmas-New Year and they are having a marvellous time seeing so many new things as we explore some of Australia- some of which I will share with our Panoramio friends.
