Looks like fun! Do they keep the boat there all summer? Actually, I don't see any roads, so I'm guessing it's rather like a water RV?
Hi k yes they do keep the boat up there all year, but it is kept in at the Eildon Boat Club marina, and the speed boat and jet ski go into a big shed. They still go up in the winter, but usually just stay in the marina, and now they will leave their boat in this little cove for about a month,Mark's is the middle one on l/f side. It has 3 bedrooms, and living/kitchen area and two outside decks, and one up the top, so quite a large one, sleeps 13 (at a squeeze) but they can go from place to place if they want, but they like the serinity of not too many people.
What a fabulous spot. It would be wonderful waking up in the morning to that view. You must have had the time of your life. I never realised Eildon wier was so large - well it is now. Gets a big Like from me.
Hi Paul Eildon sure is large, it took us just over one hr. to get to Bonnie Doon in the speed boat, but there are so many nooks and crannies, and different ways to go, an amazing place, and so peaceful until the boats all start up each day,but most enjoyable. Cheers, Dianne
Very good shot! LIKE!
Best regards Z.
