There are certainly quite a few snakes in your area. I'm lucky, all we have are garter snakes.

Yes there are. I see one almost every day in the summer. These are very useful as they eat poisonous snakes. This one was hunting a poisonous Copperhead and I didn't know it. I didn't see the Copperhead and it struck at me. Now I am very careful when I see a King hunting. I assume we must have garter snakes but maybe not, as I have seen so many species but not that one.

That is incredible. I assume from what you told me, that the King snake is not poisonous, yet it preys on the Copperhead, which is.
