I just love these photos! What idyllic places. And again this wonderful reflection. I'd like to sit in the sun under the trees on the left and dream or have a picnic, or read a book. I have it in my favourites, thank you, Ryan!
Thanks May! Yes, it's a beautiful little spot. There is a rather interesting parking lot behind me, and some picnic tables. When it's warmer, people often swim here. But on the other side, you can't get to. It's privately owned.
Very nice Ryan! Looks like a place I need to check out@
Thanks Maggie! You probably should check it out! There's more stuff there that I didn't take pictures of because of the light at the time. But I looked at the website, and it says that they charge a fee to get in sometimes. I couldn't find out what the hours are, or what the fee is. It's kind of absurd, considering how small the park is, and that there's no gate or booth from which to stop people. I've driven in there a few times, and never been charged anything. It's a mystery!
Hi Nicolas! Thanks for visiting, and it is a river. You can see the white foam from the dam on the satellite photo, and just up and downstream you can see the regular width of the river. Here it spreads out into a wide smooth pond behind the dam.
