Hi Roy; just the fashion has changed, children were and are water rats! It must have been still pretty cool as how they are dressed with coats etc. It is a great photo to remember. For you it must be significant. Have you grown up in this area? Like♥Trin

Hi Trin. I thought these 2 photographs would be of interest to You. The area has just been regenerated and 2 posters have been put up in the area. Peggy and I thought they were great to look back at. It could have been cool, because even in summer the North Sea is not the warmest of places. I lived the earlier part of my life about 4 miles south of this area at a place called Grangetown, which can be seen on the map. Best Wishes. Roy.

Hi Trin. I've just been looking at your latest from days gone, and I agree with your sentiments. I can't get Peggy onto the computer, but she does look at some of the photographs and comments. I've passed your 'hello' on. Best Wishes as always. Roy.

The essence of photography - capturing moments in time.

Really gives me a sense how fleeting life is and often, these photos are all that remains showing that, once a upon a time, we all existed.

Nice one, Roy, well done.

best wishes,
