Hi Marilyn, a cool picture and it is a good composition. The vertical wood parts of the fence are not exactly in a row so it is interesting to watch and the eye is discovering all the details of the wood. I also like the second line (the wire) because it gives direction. It is a very good colour picture with structure. I very much like it. YS

Greetings,

Carsten

Gracias, Lucrecia and vielen Dank, Carsten. It is the snow fence in this picture, placed to control the drifting of sand by the path at the entrance to the beach. I was drawn to the patterns it made. Marilyn

Marilyn, you have so many very beautiful photos again! I love these fences, we have them also on the hills, because of the wind. This one above makes such a nice pattern with the vertical lines and the diagonal.

Best wishes, May

Thank you, May. I think this is one that I'd posted in my early days on Panoramio and than took down. But I like it and I got up my courage to put it back up! So I'm glad you like it, too.

Warmest wishes, Marilyn

Thank you, Scott. I'm happy that there are others who share my like of photos that have a simple compositional emphasis.
