After waking a 3:10 am from a huge thunder clap over head i decided it was best to get out of bed as there was going to be no more sleep. the aim to try an capture some of the lightening bolts before the rains came. Most of the lightening was high up in the clouds very few bolts heading to earth the two i saw was between shots. the night was very hot and a very strong winds north east, this came from up north and moved down to the south..... very slowly not many people slept after 3 am in Perth the thunder and lightening was so strong.steve
