When this was taken there was a high pressure located over the area and a VERY stable air mass enabled the flights to and from airports in California to leave these race tracks in the sky in the form of contrails.

They look more like chem trails, notice how they spread out like a cloud, they are sprayed not from the engines. Look up CHEMTRAILS on the internet
