Memphis rhymes with Elvis!

This bronze statue of Elvis – larger then life- can be found inside the Memphis Welcome Center near the river. There a younger version on Beale Street (in motion). Erected originally on Beale St. in 1980 (sculpted by Eric Parks), it was moved to the current location in 1994. B.B. King statue (even bigger) is keeping him company.
