The tomb of Francis Masich features a marble carving of his beloved dog, lying on the sidewalk in front of his tomb with large marble tear drops coming from his eyes. The dog followed his master’s coffin to the grave, and even though he was removed, he returned and eventually died there. In honor of his devotion, man’s best friend is decorated with seasonal collars, including the black and gold of the New Orleans Saints
