Absolutely stunning Sam

How sad I am that I missed this spot but how glad I am that I found your gallery!

I am also glad I found the zoom shortcuts in Google Chrome to help me visualize this HUGER image properly.

Many thanks - Jethro

No visit to Yorkshire is complete without a day or two in Whitby and its neighbouring fishing villages of Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes, you must do it some time Jethro, I'd be happy to show you around if you get this way. Yes full size viewing is a must for scenes like this so I'm pleased you found that option too :o)

Many thanks for the complimentary comment.

Ah, very nice. Everything is crystal clear. It's like being there. The birds bobbing about on the Esk. But that boat... Couldn't have held still a moment, the inconsiderate git! Those buildings that back onto the Esk, I think they are great. I bet they get some fantastic views. Still, you got a fantastic one of them. Great stuff.

But one thing I have noticed, I'm not on this picture... Unlike Denise's photos. I'm on two of them!

Not my fault you were at work bud :o). I actually like the motion blur on the boat, it says it's on the move. The other one I took previously had a seagull flying nicely into the scene but this time all airborne ones were blurs or dots that had to be eliminated so I was thankful to have some bobbing about since it wouldn't be Whitby without gulls. I might class it as work in prigress with further visits to see if I can improve it.

Cheers for the feedback mate :o)
