Great Borne across Ennerdale Water from Angler's Crag

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Bowness Knott is the small scree fringed fell closest to the lake backed by the twin topped bulk of Great Borne (616m). Further right along the ridge to High Stile are the tops of Starling Dodd and Buttermere Red Pike.

Many thanks linrich, Jean-Pierre, Nickolay, Soroosh, Ueliton, Mario, Marion, Bassam, Fabio, Ian and varkos for your great comments. Sorry to take so long to reply. Anglers Crag is an excellent viewpoint for Ennerdale Water and the surrounding mountains and is a short, easy climb from the big carpark at the outflow of the lake.

Best regards
