Clarksdale, MS, many blues musicians had some kind of connection to this town on the crossroads of Hwy 61 & 49.

Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, BB King, Bessie Smith, John Lee Hooker, Ike Turner, Sonny Boy Williamson, Son House and others, made living, played, lived, or died here.

I think, this murals depicts John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, and perhaps Bessie Smith. (She died in Clarksdale after car accidents injuries).
