Well Loïc, thank you. I am glad you found this photo that I painted the rocks with my flashlight so that they would appear in the shot :) Best wishes, Volkan
Very pretty, but Castle Rock as a subject should be photoed from beach level in daylight, as it is quite impressive for the area. Even better is "the Chasm" that splits the seaward portion of the Rock.
Dear Elbridge, thank you for your comment. You seem to know a lot about Boston area. However I was a stranger in the area that could wonder around only after sunset because I was occupied with business during the day. This actually coincides with my preference about taking night photographs of where ever I go. Because I think daytime photos of such popular areas can be found by tons :) I used my pocket flashlight to illuminate some of the nearby rocks. Best wishes from Chicago, Volkan
Dear Volkan, Perhaps my comment was a little too critical. I appreciate your restrains and also your photographic style. I guess that from your title I was expecting to see The Rock, as I am familiar with the area. Keep up the nice work, Elbridge.
Eldridge thank you again for your message, I must add that it was a pleasant surprise for me to find this little pocket among all the surrounding homes. And I am glad no body was disturbed about my existence during the long exposure :) I wish that I would come back again to Boston for better shots. Best wishes, Volkan
Dear Eldridge, Thanks for the unique picture of Castle Rock. This rock has been a part of the lives of many youths in the area. You have discovered a special place in your short time on the North Shore of Boston..good job!
Hi Collegetennis, I have reason to believe that your comment was addressed to me as the me as I am the owner of this photograph. If that is the case for certain, I thank you much for your complements even thou it seams that it was addressed to Elbridge Best wishes, Volkan
Hi Pandora, thank you for your message. Yes I am positive about the location of where this photo was taken. I used my LED flash light to paint the rocks with light while I was doing long time exposure for 30 seconds. It is hard to notice but there are shining rails in the lower right of the photo. I think they are the rails of the pool which is visible on the satellite image or on Google Earth. Best wishes from Chicago, Volkan
