The white building, with all its angles, make a very strong contrast with the natural setting and the white benches tie it together further.

I never thought of it that way. I think you may be right. It's actually a crop from a bit greater image that I found to present something err.. "housy" for a change. I never studied the result at any length. Hm? mmm! Thank you very much Marilyn :-D

Hello Roger! The beautiful white house in the woods, I like very much the trees in the background Fabio

Roger Sandvik on December 21, 2007

Thank you very much Fabio :). It's a ... hm I think it's called a greenhouse in english, .... that belongs to a larger estate which now is public area. One can actually go in there and taste samples of whatever grows in there, like figs and other exotic fruits.

Hi Roger Thanks information you sent me. Hello, Fabio

Fantastic! I love the contrast, and speaking purely as a gardener... I would love to see this in person! Wonderful greenhouses!

Thank you so much Vicki. I'm very thankful! This place is very popular, situated a short walk from the town Mandal in the southern part of Norway. it's a part of a larger area (small forest) which is protected against any further developement. So, it's practically the town's green lung, so to speak. On the left you'll see something looking like redish/ brown boxes. They are areas where they grow herbs and such, where people can pick samples and bring home to use when cooking dinner.
