You are welcome! Never too late to learn, he? We locals love you loyal visitors who keep coming back and also love our island.
I've seen your other pictures. Keep up the nice work.
Best regards, Angel.
This beautiful tree is not a Divi Divi tree (Caesalpinia coriaria), but a Buttonwood tree (Conocarpue erecta), called Fofoti in papiamento (Aruba's native language). The Divi Divi tree is clled Watapana in papiamento. People seem to label all wind-swept trees as Divi Divi trees, but actually, almost all of Aruba's trees are bent by the wind like this.
I've Changed the Title, but I didn't want to delete my comment Antonrdm, angelaruba already told me taht it is a Fofoti. Now in 2009 the tree looks like this tree.
Vielen Dank Bernd, werde dein Panoramio-Album auch bald anschauen.

Sorry, but this not a Divi Divi Tree. This is a mangrove tree (Button wood) called "Fofoti" in Papiamento (Aruba native language).

Thank you Angel, Aruba is a very nice place with very kind people, we like your happy island ;-)
