Phoenix has its Islamic Center?..

Chris English on October 1

Oh yes. There are several Islamic Centers in the area. Muslim people from across the planet, often escaping social unrest, have settled in the area. Others are here to be leaders. Others seek the success they believe the U.S. offers. Others because their family has lived in the area two or three generations.

There are no direct trains from New York to Phoenix. You can get to a place named Maricopa and be transported by bus from Phoenix. You are better off taking a train to Flagstaff, then shuttle to Phoenix.

http://www.amtrak.com/home is the passenger rail system

Here is a map of rail lines
