Thank you Rich. Yes it is a beautiful place but quite small and intimate which makes it ideal for one-day circular walks whthin an easy driving/bus journey distance from Madrid in the shorter daylight hours of Winter. Also not far from Madrid is La Pedriza which is similar but even more spactacular and is a much larger area. I am waiting for the days to lengthen before I get to grips with it. Best wishes, Andy
