Hi Rosina, Yes it is the replica of the old Endeavour. Built in Western Australia, almost down to the 'no nails' old time ship building theory using timber 'runnels' (like a tapered dowell to the rest of us.) I visited this ship when it came to New Zealand and had hundreds of people queing to look over it. Headroom in the Marines quarters is just below my shoulders (between the deck beams!) & the ship had a top speed with full sail on, of just 7 or 8 knots... Real fast, just like a caste iron bath tub, with the tap (blunt) end into the seas. But it has sat. nav. a donk & fully equiped kitchen down there. Regards, Peterbnz in Christchurch.
