Visit this unique corner of the world in spring to see gole jaleez (a desert flower which only grows in Kabir desert). Your children will definitely enjoy our natural "pet zoo" – kids, lambs, and baby camels. And, of course, we have camel rides, too. The wildlife of Kabir is surprisingly rich for a desert – you can see lizards, geckoes and bats, different water fowl and jackals, owls and falcons, hedgehogs and fox.
The water comes to the area through the 4000-year old system of the qanats, an ancient Persian underground canal system. We have a fish pond to grow amur, carp, and ….., and we grow our own camel, sheep, goats, partridge, chickens, and guinea hens. We churn our own butter from goat and cow milk and make our own cheese for your breakfast, we use locally grown fruit and vegetables from a neighboring town of Nāīn and do our best to keep the amount of the produce we bring from afar to the minimum. Khanoom Fatemeh and her daughter-in-law will cook every meal from the scratch for you, the menu includes Iranian specialties like Shami Kebab(with camel meat), Abgoosht(Broth) E la kholi, ghormeh sabzi, ....
